Liquid and formats
What should you know before ordering a 1T IBC of aquafaba?
You have already tested the recipe, fixed the dose and moved aquafaba into regular production. Smaller packs now mean repeated orders, repeated handling and more packaging around an ingredient that is already established on the line. A 1T IBC is for that stage of production. It represents 33,000 egg whites, with the same 30g working ratio used in the smaller liquid formats. Before you order, check whether that volume matches your use, what your setup needs to handle the format, and which order details we need to confirm for your market. Updated: .
Have you already established the recipe and process?
Consider an IBC only after the recipe and production process are already established. It can suit a site making the same egg-free product regularly, a central production operation supplying several lines, or a manufacturer that has already validated aquafaba and now needs a larger supply format.
If the application is still being developed, test it at recipe scale first. Move to the IBC after aquafaba is already part of the process.
How does 33,000 egg whites compare with your production?
One 1T IBC represents 33,000 egg whites. Compare that directly with the number of egg whites your production already replaces. If your use is close to that scale, an IBC is worth discussing.
If your volume is lower, compare the 10L bag-in-box for continuous professional use, or the 1L Tetrapak when you use smaller quantities.
Does the working ratio change at this scale?
No. The liquid is still ready to use, and the working ratio stays at 30g of VERY AQUAFABA for each egg white you want to replace. Changing to an IBC changes the supply format, not the recipe ratio. Establish the application in a smaller format before changing the way you order and handle the ingredient.
What should you include in the enquiry?
Send your country, the application and the volume you expect to use. Add any questions your line raises about handling the IBC on site. If you need to confirm a connection, a dosing step or another part of the setup, include it rather than working from an assumption.
We reply with the technical sheet, the minimum order and the lead time for your market. Send the production details you already know, through the business option in the purchase window below, so we can answer the practical points before you place the order.
